Product update: Audit and Observation Table views

The longer and for more use cases our customers have been using Falcony, the more audits and observations there are. With greater scale, there needs to be more ways to sort, filter, and view this data.

For audits and observations, the basic view in Falcony has been the card view. We are proud to announce that there's now a new table view for both audits and observations, and these views are included in all Falcony plans.

This is the second blog post from our recent launch event held on April 17th, 2024. More blog posts about other updates will follow soon.

Audit Table View

There is a new tab on the audits page called "Audit Table." It allows users to view all audits they have access to in a table format. This is helpful because the table view includes filtering, sorting, and additional column possibilities.

Whereas the audit card view always showed the latest audit as the uppermost in the list, in a table format, one can simply click a column to sort, for example, the highest or lowest scored audits. Likewise, filtering is natively included in the column header. Simply click the "filter-icon" next to a column header to find the relevant filters you are looking for.

With the column picker (Button: "Edit columns"), it's possible to go to section-level scores and even question-level answers, audit by audit. Furthermore, each data list can be exported to Excel from the handy button in the top right corner.

Observation Table View

Pretty much all the same features apply to the observation table view as well. What’s really great with the observation table, though, is that it will allow for filtering with all the choice and multiple-choice questions, which is something that’s been requested a lot.

Both the audit and observation tables come with super-fast search and really nice designs for viewing assignees and the ability to click directly into a specific observation or audit.

Column Header Filtering for All Data Tables

This same column header filtering is available for all other data tables as well. It has been implemented in the users table, roles table, questions table, and open links table, just to name a few.

Conclusion

As mentioned, the new filters and data tables are available in all plans, so simply test them out if you are already a customer.
